    Job Summary:

    The Manager of Talent Acquisition will lead the Talent Acquisition function, and be responsible for developing processes, managing a team and building out a best-in-class talent acquisition function. 


    Essential Functions:


    Operations Management: 40% of time

    • Partner with hiring managers to determine hiring needs and establish effective recruitment strategies
    • Manage job/career content on internet sites and social media platforms
    • Source and attract candidates maintaining pipeline flow
    • Manage the entire candidate experience and process
    • Act as main point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
    • Create and facilitate hiring manager training programs and resources
    • In partnership with HR and organizational leadership, develop talent acquisition strategy, infrastructure, tools, training and resources
    • In partnership and collaboration with HR Leadership, set the overall recruitment strategy and create the operational infrastructure for talent acquisition across the organization
    • Leverage the existing applicant tracking system for maximum effectiveness and efficiency
    • Establish a staffing delivery model utilizing internal resources and identifying and establishing outside vendor partnerships
    • Primary point of contact in talent acquisition vendor assessment and negotiations
    • Develop, analyze and present standard and ad hoc recruitment metrics to senior management highlighting recruitment progress, ongoing trends, gaps and areas of improvement
    • Work closely with hiring managers and compensation to develop and/or update job descriptions and job specifications
    • Partner with the Marketing team to create and implement an employment brand establishing Ygrene as an employer of choice


    Team Management: 20% of time

    • Oversee and manage the training, development and performance of the talent acquisition team
    • Schedule staff and assign work to ensure work deadlines are met
    • Recruit, select, train, and provide leadership and performance feedback for direct reports
    • Recommend wage adjustments, staffing and work assignments
    • Conduct regular staff and coaching meetings with direct reports
    • Establish goals and work plans consistent with organization needs and monitor progress
    • Attend internal and external management meetings


    Metrics & Reporting:  20% of time

    • Develop and analyze performance metrics reflecting the effectiveness of the talent acquisition structure and function

    Recruitment:  10% of time

    • Sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers and moving candidates through the hiring process

    Other Duties as Assigned: 10%

    • Assist other HR departments on special projects


    • Ability to work as a player/coach playing an active role in both the hands on recruiting process and establishing best practices
    • Creative problem solver with proven experience and ability to implement outside-the-box solutions
    • Ability to quickly establish strong working relationships with employees and leaders across the organization and sites
    • Solid knowledge of employment law and regulations

    • Must be team oriented and able to operate effectively in a fast-moving, dynamic environment


    • Must have 6+ years of experience in corporate recruiting
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred
    • Experience within the banking, lending or financial services industries preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience
    • Previous experience configuring and developing applicant tracking systems – knowledge and experience with iCIMS is a plus
