    The Commercial Area Manager will focus on developing and closing a robust pipeline of Commercial Solar and other C-PACE transactions utilizing both direct sales and channel partner relationships in the assigned regional market. The candidate will be tasked with managing a pipeline of deals to successful closings while building close working relationships with channel partners and property owners.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Master Ygrene’s C-PACE product offering, process and procedures.
    • Engage new/existing solar channel partners, train them on advantages of our C-PACE financing products, help guide their project development efforts
    • Engage new/existing clients and solar channel partners to identify qualified sales opportunities for Ygrene Works C-PACE Solar financing
    • Maintain a close working relationship with channel partners that will lead to repeat business
    • Develop a pipeline of C-PACE solar transactions by leveraging these relationships to meet or exceed target goals
    • Intake other C-PACE transactions in assigned territory and bring to a successful close 
    • Manage deal flow through all stages of the transaction pipeline
    • Work closely with the operations team to collect all relevant project documents and maintain close relationship with clients to ensure smooth project delivery
    • Maintain accurate and timely information related to project and relationship level data in CRM system
    • Preserve a high level of personal and professional integrity that reflects well on Ygrene’s established position as the leader in the growing C-PACE market
    • Retain a positive working relationship with team members and staff

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in outside sales with a proven record of successfully developing and closing deals 

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the fields of commercial real estate, finance, energy efficiency or solar sales
    • 2+ years of experience working with commercial solar distributors, integrators, value added resellers and manufacturers
    • Experience in Salesforce and Microsoft Office 
    • Knowledge of PACE financing and other traditional financing structures
    • Ability to develop multiple simultaneous projects from channel partners or from the ground up
    • Ability to persistently and effectively research, contact and engage warm and cold sales leads.
    • Proven ability to interact with C-Suite
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills 
    • Ability to travel within assigned territory
