    Ygrene Energy Fund is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate team. This individual will be responsible for performing day-­‐to-­‐day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting and control, and support to our sales, marketing, and corporate teams in all financial matters. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Perform day-­to­‐day transactional accounting activities including journal entry and cash account reconciliations
    • Participate in the month-­end accounting close process in compliance with established accounting procedures and policies
    • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reports, and cash flow statements
    • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry.
    • Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations
    • Prepare schedules and work with auditors for the timely delivery of audit reports
    • Support financial management in establishing, managing, and measuring performance against budget and cost controls
    • Perform special projects and research as assigned
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience required
    • 2+ years of prior accounting experience required
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Intermediate in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
    • Experience with financial systems software and/or ERP systems such as NetSuite preferred
