    Ygrene Energy Fund is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our corporate team. This individual will be responsible for performing day-­‐to-­‐day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting and  control, and supporting to our sales, marketing, and corporate teams in all financial matters.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform day-­‐to-­‐day transactional accounting activities including entry and processing of  accounts payable, billing, cash management, and all account reconciliations.
    • Oversee and manage Ygrene's property tax administration.
    • Prepare monthly internal financial reports as directed by Accounting Manager.
    • Prepare month-­‐end  and  year-­‐end  close  in  compliance  with  established  accounting   procedures and policies.
    • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reports, and cash flow statements.
    • Preparation of account reconciliations.
    • Assist with development of accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
    • Support financial management in establishing, managing, and measuring performance against budget and cost controls.
    • Prepare schedules and work with auditors for the timely delivery of audit reports.
    • Prepare lender required reporting pertaining to debt covenants.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
    • CPA preferred
    • 4+ years of prior accounting experience
    • Ability to develop and establish financial policies and procedures
    • Ability to work independently, with little supervision
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and rapid growth environment
