The Associate, Market Development will develop professional networks to increase awareness and adoption of PACE in new markets, provide marketing support to the Government Affairs team including writing content, presentations, and other collateral, manage PACE events and act as a resource on PACE to local, regional, and state governments


  • Update and prepare content for Statement of Qualifications, E-blast communications, and other collateral as required.
  • Draft and finalize print ready collateral for use at events and meetings.
  • Draft PowerPoint presentations including gathering input, drafting content, and providing updates to field.
  • Create, propose and manage budgets for local, state and national PACE events including booth setup and logistics, determining marketing collateral, and scheduling Government Affairs participation.  
  • Participate in networking and PACE events as a representative of Ygrene.  Draw upon knowledge of PACE to be able to respond with details on upcoming initiatives and how our products are a fit within a new market.
  • Prepare resolution packages for agenda, tax collection agreements and resolutions, and additional documents as required. Ensure that county maps are recorded and executed copies of all resolutions and agreements are completely signed, received and logged into the system.
  • Manage relationships with elected officials and city, county and state staff as directed
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision makers within organizations and stakeholders.
  • Develop network of professionals who can support the expansion of PACE within new markets
  • In operating states, develop and manage state-wide visibility plan in collaboration with State-Level Director 
  • Research and respond to data requests from local, regional, or state government agencies timely.   
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM database, account updates, activities, pipeline, and outreach.  Leverage Salesforce CRM for reporting on team performance.
  • Administer Salesforce for Government Affairs team, including testing and rolling out technical updates.
  • Research and calculate data for internal and external communications.
  • Anticipate, research and solve reporting and calculation issues and engage with internal experts as needed.
  • Ensure data is accurate as for internal and external parties


  • Bachelor’s degree required; public policy, government relations or related field is a plus; or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as an employee or support staff in local government, chamber of commerce, community-based organization, or for an elected official in local, state or federal government
  • Knowledge of national, state and local government structures and decision making process 
  • Knowledge of network building and how to leverage connections.
  • Knowledge of PACE, preferred.
  • Proficient in database administration including Salesforce or CRM. Past experience in Salesforce a plus.
  • Advanced level skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Constant Contact, a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to draft final versions of collateral
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively network with varying levels of stakeholders
  • Experience with project management
  • Ability to manage multiple competing projects and deadlines.  Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous campaign management experience is a plus
