The Director of Analytics & Insights will lead the development of analytic capabilities and solutions to help the company make data-driven decisions and spur growth.   Translate data into strategic insights to improve customer engagement and marketing/sales conversion, and optimize contractor relationships.  Develop actionable recommendations to senior management on key opportunities and challenges     

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of new analytic capabilities, which includes managing the relationship with 3rd party provider and collaborating with BI and technology teams.  New capabilities include the universal data hub, real-time data and reporting tools, and measurement strategies to optimize property owners’ full lifecycle engagement
  • Develop framework and analytic solutions to optimize marketing investments, improve customer conversion funnel, and maximize contractor “closing” performance.   Continuously test, measure, learn, and identify opportunities to more effectively acquire new customers and efficiently nurture the sales process
  • Utilize advanced analytics (e.g., algorithms, machine learning) and data visualization to define problems and answer critical business questions
  • Present compelling insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior executives to help make strategic decisions on product, pricing, channel, marketing investments, and operations

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, financial services, and/or analytics
  • At least 5+ years of supervisory experience and experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance or related fields
  • Master’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
  • 10+ years in analytics/data science and business strategy development; experience leading or collaborating with data scientists, tech developers, and business/operations managers
  • 5+ years working with senior level executives/management to define and solve business issues, and make actionable, strategic recommendations
  • Advanced knowledge of analytic tools, techniques (e.g., machine learning), data science, data mining, and statistical concepts; experience in marketing attribution a plus
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and prepare compelling executive level presentations
  • Demonstrated track record in cross-functional project management, including project planning, business design, and development
  • Expertise on data visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik, and languages such as SAS, Python, and SQL Entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast-paced environment
